Only YOU can help
prevent the spread of the West Nile virus by taking the following steps:
- Clean-up all standing water around
your house. Remove all trash that will collect water (tires, pop cans,
junk cars, etc.).
- Wear Long Sleeve clothing when outdoors.
- Use a Mosquito Repellent that contains
"Deet." Read and follow all label directions before use.
- Make sure all your window and door
screens are in good shape-- repair if necessary.
- Use a Larvicide in any standing water
that you can't drain. Larvicides are available through the County Cost
Share Program.
